Entrenched social problems require radical rethinking, and images have a unique power to catalyze that process in audiences, bypassing the semantics of language to reach people’s emotional core. Leveraging this unique power is one of my primary goals as a creator. The projects collected on this page represent my evolving thinking on the most effective ways to contribute to this struggle.

In February of 2021, I was one of two artists/activists-in-residence at ModNomad Studio’s Casa Minka, along with Gwendolyn Pieper. We soon became involved in the Taos Land Trust’s efforts to restore the area’s depleted soil through regenerative agriculture, designing a trifold pamphlet to educate local farmers, ranchers and gardeners about the Trust’s new No-till Seed Drill, a specialty piece of equipment available for rental via their Working Lands Equipment Rental Program.
